NRS Healthcare was delighted to attend a recruitment and careers fair in Hereford focussed on those looking to work in the healthcare sector.

Dodjie Link, who is the ICES Service Manager in Hereford and joined NRS in 2022, enjoyed the opportunity talked to students thinking about their future careers and to those looking for jobs in healthcare.

He said:

“The weather lowered the number of those attending, however it was a good day and a great opportunity to network with the wider community we support and talk to people about how we work together with the NHS and local authority to provide our service. I spoke to students about NRS Healthcare and possible careers with us and provide advice which will enable the future growth of people in Herefordshire.”

The annual ICS Recruitment and Careers Fair was hosted at The Three Counties Hotel on Wednesday 8th March by Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICS and NHS and saw more than 20 exhibitors taking part to offer information and vacancies in numerous areas such as administration, nursing, healthcare support, caring, pharmacy and operating theatres.

Katie Hartwright is Director for People and Workforce at NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire. She said:

“We were delighted to see so many attendees at the event, despite the winter weather on the day. There were 29 partners and businesses represented, highlighting the breath of opportunities across the two counties including everything from clinical nursing, health care science, social care, care workers, administration, facilities and more. The event also featured information on education and training offers and how to qualify and progress within the health and care sectors in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Further events will be taking place in the coming months as we encourage anyone who is interested in the varied opportunities to come along and talk to us about a rewarding career in the health care industry.”
